Local Links

This was a section in the sidebar known as local businesses but I've instead changed this to simply local links. Even those this is referred to as local businesses I've even included community organizations although here I intend to separate them.

If you have any links to any neighborhood organization or business should be included please let us know! Leave a comment below or send at e-mail to thesixthward [at] 1chicago [dot] net. You can also refer to our contact information in the sidebar. Thank you in advance.

Organizations - Either community based or chambers of commerce

Businesses - Either locally owned or national chains
Chicagoland Blogroll - A small part of "Blogginois". If you know of other local blogs worth adding then please send an e-mail or leave a comment on this page. Thanks in advance!

  1. Beautiful job. I didn't know about this online resource and was certainly going to recommend such. Thank you for doing this. I will pass along the URL to my neighbors. Also, I'll send you an announcement I am happy about. Real Men Cook will take place in the 6th Ward for the first time since we started. I am a 6th Ward resident and Alderman Sawyer cooked with his dad and brother in the very first Real Men Cook 22 years ago, so it's fitting that he's accepted our invitation to host Real Men Cook Father's Day, Sunday, June 19 at the beautiful Chicago State University. www.realmencook.com
