Due to substantial fraud, write-ins (Syron Smith led a substantial campaign) and mechanical error, the results fo this past Alermanic election on Feb. 22 are invalid.
And due to budget cuts, the the Mayor and Chicago Board of Elections will be using alternate means to decide who will be alderman of the 6th Ward, rather than the April 5 election, in order to be fair for all 6 candidates.
As this is the most viable internet forum for the 6th ward, it has been decided comments on this blog will be the method to determine who will be the new 6th Ward Alderman.
This emergency action needs to have a decision by 11:59 pm, or the results here will also be invalid, and our ward will be in a dire emergency.
