Among Blacks, Mayoral Election Forces a Push for New Ideas and Leaders

Since the municipal elections of last month there has been a lot of "overanalysis" of what happened with the actual "Black consensus candidate". This article from the Chicago News Coop looks at bringing in younger people for fresh and new leadership & ideas. Ald. Lyle has said the 6th Ward has nurtured leaders, hopefully whoever wins the run-off next month will continue to nurture futures leaders. Especially from the next generation.
