BTW, I want to share this article with you. The Defender reports that Ald. Lyle supports Pat Quinn for re-election as Governor.
Lyle, who organized the endorsing group, said they began meeting in September about which candidate to back. They looked at each candidate’s track record in addition to conducting interviews with each.Ah the Hynes ad. It made him a contender almost overnight and Quinn is very much playing defense with robobcalls from prominent Chicago blacks from former Harold Washington aide Jacky Grimshaw (she sits on the CTA board currently thanks to Gov. Quinn), Congressmen Luis Gutierrez, Danny Davis, and Bobby Rush. If you haven't seen it, it's old news, but here it is! We're still seeing the consequences of it!
