OPEN BLOG: Chatham neighborhood identifiers

Based on the discussion regarding the photos I took on 71st Street on either side of the expressway and this article from the Chicago Sun-Times regarding obelisks that are being erected on 35th Street in the historic Bronzeville neighborhood.

QUESTION: Should there be neighborhood identifiers in Chatham? If yes, what should those identifiers be (i.e. obelisks, scuptures, signs, etc.)? If no, then explain why not?
