Chicago Businesses Prepare For Inauguration

Our friendly neighborhood movie theater will show the Obama inauguration at it's theater on the day of January 20th according to CBS2 news. Of course there are other venues around the city who are going to offer viewings of this historic event. If you can't go to DC to see the inauguration take advantage:

Watch the video report here and here's an excerpt:
Instead of showing its usual fare of Hollywood movies on January 20th, Barack Obama's face will fill the theatre's big screens at the I.C.E Theater on 87th Street In Chicago.

The swearing in of the President-elect will be showed live via satellite and owner Alisa Starks is providing the historic event free to the community.

"People want to share this with someone…and since we're not in DC and not able to be among the millions out there, at least we'll have several hundred here who will be sharing the moment together," Starks said.

Christian Clark intends to share the moment at the theatre with his seven year old son.

"He's young and he doesn't realize a lot went through to get to where we are today so I'll definitely make sure he watches it," Clark said.
You can visit the official website of ICE Theaters here! They're also under local business in the first sidebar.

Remember the date and time of the inauguration is January 20th at Noon. It's in the federal constitution. :)
