South Side Community Art Center showcases black Chicagoans

A video from Channel 2 about the oldest Black art center and the oldest surviving WPA (Works Progress Administration, New Deal era, existed roughly 1939 to 1943) in the nation. They are collaborating with the Chicago Defender to exhibit some photos from the Defender's archives to honor Chicago's black businesses. The center itself is located at 3831 S. Michigan Avenue.
